Because the leased building in Overpelt, Belgium had become too small, Pentapack nv moved to a new facility in Kinrooi, Belgium.  

In the new facility, we have enough space to make sure that we can grow in the next years.  With 450m² for machine assembly, 450m² for workshop with CNC machines and other equipment and 900m² storage, we have the space to work in a organised and clear way.

Offices and meeting rooms have increased to a total of 400m².

Pentapack developed a new balcony style machine for the production of unit dose blisters.  This easy to use and very flexible machine was specially designed for hospital use.  Tablets, capsules, suppo's, liquids, ...  All can be packed into a unit dose blister.  Standard the machine is delivered with a label printer that allows you to print all necessary information onto a label that is attached inline onto the backside of the blister.  For more information look under "Products" !

Romain Cappuyns and Mathieu Goossens were the former management team of the EAS department at Klöckner Pentapack Benelux NV.  This company was mainly focussed on contract packaging but also had a small division that manufactured the EAS blister machine. With the take-over of the entire Klöckner Pentapack group by Budelpack, this division was now the only machine manufacturing department within a international contract packaging and manufacturing group.  Mid 2001 Budelpack was looking for a solution for this department as it fitted no longer within the strategy (core-business) of the group.  The result was a management buy-out by Romain Cappuyns and Mathieu Goossens which lead to the founding of Pentapack NV in january 2002.
